In 2019 I am completing various sporting events in order to challenge myself, both physically and mentally, and in doing so thought it would be great opportunity to raise funds for Mind. I have faced a number of challenges along the way, most notably multiple sprained ankles but am continuing to try and complete all challenges.

Completed Events

10k Trail run at Newlands Corner

15k Trail run at Newlands Corner (sprained ankle 3k in but hobbled around the remaining 12k!)

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Half (sprained ankle before start line so went for a gentle jog)

Surrey Half (hadn't run since above half 4 weeks before)

5k Swimathon

Haslemere Triathlon

Cholmondeley Castle Olympic Triathlon (first time open water swimming, first time swimming in a wetsuit!)

French Revolution Cycle - 75 mile cycle from Calais

Bournemouth Pier to Pier Swim (1.4 miles)

DisneyRun - 5k, 10k and Half Marathon to be completed in a weekend at Disney Land Paris

Oxford Half

Technical P&C Team Triathlon (Olympic Distance)

Any support and donations would be much appreciated

Great year, Sophie. My challenge for 2020 is "RODAY" - Run One Day A Year.... I think yours may be a bit more of a challenge than mine!
